'm not too sure whats happening, we talked to him about two years ago at one of crying out loud's last gigs, which was at St. Pauls Castle hill and he said the new band would not be ska, coz he "didnt actually like ska that much..." I've seen him maybe twice at the Attic big nights. But havent asked him. By the way, if you didnt know, the lead singer from Wishful has started a project in the vein of the last song on their final EP, Say I Love You, called Prisoners Like Sand. It is quite a depature from the punk of the previous band with similar vocals but an electronic based background with electric guitar still present but not prominent. It's nice to see that these great people's songwriting abilities are not ending with these bands but that they are continuing on, San Salvador and the Weather(if they are indeed still together) are good examples of that.

hmm.. Steve Barnard gave me a lift to SLC's last sydney gig and they are in the practising stage as far as i know.. but that was quite a while ago and nothing has changed by the looks of it.
and speaking of local musicians... does anyone remember the hardcore band winter's underground. They had a drummer who had an amazing voice, i think his name was Ben.. does anyone know firstly who i'm talking about and secondly any projects he is invloved with

Yeah... they broke up a long time ago.. and apparently... (according to Steve Barnard) he has been doing drumming courses alot since i saw him (3 years ago) and he is the most amazing drummer he has seen. I'd love to see him in a new band
