well good luck!! cos i'd love to see a 4th wave in sydney!!.... and also i know you don want a profit and all that... but if your going to be making a uniform and a shirt design your going to have to make some type of money pooling cos you have to pay for shirts and all that.

thats cool.. but you also have to think about the type of people that you let join aswell... being selective isn't a bad thing cos its important that you make sure that the people will accually come to gigs and do the right thing etc

okay... so if I was going to be starting a skanking group what i would do is get all the 'core' members to meet up at a certain location and talk about things like what some rules are and what you want to achieve out of it.. i.e - want to create a fourth wave of ska in sydney. - get the SU-army well known in ska scene
then think about uniform - pants - tartan, striped, two tone - shirt - what designs, what to have on them etc
then how to get money to finance buying of certain items like cloths - bank account?? - fund raising??
and how to recurit new memebers - recuritment guy?
what you are going to do at shows - skank - listen for instructions from certain person etc.
and are u going to have any overtones - straight edge group - christian group
and things like that make it a better group... the planning is the important bit

haha yeah me n leams have been thinkin about that stuff a lil bit. not quite as much as you have though! i think just for now, we can talk some things through here, have a sorta forum confrence thingo. We are deffinately looking to make it a christian group though. but we would sill support non-christian bands! not to the same extremes though
